Rachel’s mission for teaching yoga is to help others to feel at home within themselves. With that hope and intention, she brings a sense of peace, calm and empowerment to her students.
“May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some
way to that happiness and to that freedom for all.”

Jesse began her journey with yoga her junior year of high school. She practiced at a local studio with her mom in Fredericksburg, VA. It wasn't until Jesse's college years that she truly fell in love with the lifestyle of yoga. Her passion for yoga grew as she practiced at a local studio and completed her 200-hr RYT Training in 2020. She taught middle school for two years while continuing to teach yoga. Teaching middle school only strengthened her values in holding space for others to heal. She believes in whole body health and is passionate about guiding others to build strength and resilience both mentally and physically. Jesse started teaching yoga and meditations online (YouTube: @Jesseevelyn) after moving across the country from her family and home studio that helped her grow into who she is now. She is ecstatic to hold space virtually for her mom and students back in VA, while also being able to teach in person here at Riffs Yoga Studio. She is thankful to be part of the community as she continues to grow and create her life here in San Diego.
Slow Flow is an unhurried vinyasa class, balancing breath and body. This practice takes a slower pace providing the opportunity to build proper alignment and explore the intricacies of each pose. Slow does not necessarily mean easy, expect a moderate level of challenge in this class.
