Fair Smith
Hi! I'm Fair.
I am a 500-hr RYT who was born and raised on the East Coast, but migrated out West a few years ago to enjoy all the sunshine and opportunities San Diego has to offer. I step onto my mat to improve my mind-body-spirit connection and gain control of my breath to bring myself back to the present moment. Yoga gives me feelings of bliss, serenity, and deep connection and my goal as a teacher is to share those feelings with my students in a safe, respectful way. When taking one of my classes, students can expect to pair intention, breath and movement seamlessly and feel balanced in both their body and mind.
Finding and maintaining the breath while building self-trust, acceptance, and strength will be the main focuses of my classes. My classes will also emphasize that to participate in yoga, one doesn’t have to be flexible or experienced, all one has to be is open-minded and ready to deeply explore their mind, body, and soul.
Fair Smith instructs the following:
-
Vinyasa
This is an intermediate class and yoga experience is recommended.
Vinyasa is an active breath to movement practice that includes postures to create heat, build strength and flexibility. Advanced postures may be offered, though the class remains accessible to most who have some experience with yoga. This class incorporates binds, arm balances, backbends, and chaturangas.

Slow Flow
A great class for all levels.
Slow Flow is an unhurried vinyasa class, balancing breath and body. This practice takes a slower pace providing the opportunity to build proper alignment and explore the intricacies of each pose. Slow does not necessarily mean easy, expect a moderate level of challenge in this class.
