Hatha

This class is taught by:

Jaclyn Miles

Jaclyn Miles is an international yoga teacher from Canada, living in San Diego. She has taught classes in Costa Rica, Italy, and loves to travel almost as much as she loves yoga!

She began practicing yoga around 15 years ago has been teaching now for almost 11. She started her yoga practice for the physical benefits but has stayed for everything else. It has truly made her a more connected, present human.

To Jaclyn, yoga is a reconnection; a
deeper dive into ourselves and a bringing together of each other. A practice to get back to our roots and our natural rhythm. To remind ourselves - we are warriors,
we are creators, we are magic.
More importantly, she believes in always being a student.

Jaclyn's classes are energetic, playful and full of opportunities to slow down, breathe and practice gratitude. Moments to truly nourish the soul.

Lauren Pyjar

Lauren has been teaching Yoga Asana since 2022, after having practiced as a student for 8 years. She designs her classes to unlock her students’ chakras through intentional movement, powerful breath work, and focused meditation. She is dedicated to honoring the history and traditions of yoga, and opens and closes each class with a meaningful mantra.

Back in 2023, Lauren traveled to India to engage in deeper studies of yoga, where she received teachings from masters of mantra, philosophy, meditation, and Bhakti. She tries to include aspects of all of these techniques into her classes, as well as into her own practice.

Lauren has completed 235 hours of formal study in Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yoga Nidra; in addition to hundreds of hours of informal study of yogic texts and philosophy.

Outside of yoga, Lauren loves to host women’s circles, surf, travel, climb, and read silly books :)

Breanna specializes in alignment-focused Vinyasa flow, combining mindful movement with breathwork and hands-on assists. She also shares her expertise in Yin yoga and Reiki for deep release and restoration. Originally from Connecticut, Breanna lived in Denver before moving to San Diego in April 2024. With her blend of expertise, creativity, and heart-centered approach, Breanna's classes offer an opportunity to explore breath, reflect on the mind through yogic philosophy, and gain a deeper understanding of emotions, minds, and bodies. --

This is an all-levels static practice where you can expect to hold traditional yoga postures for several breaths, allowing time to explore alignment and engagement within your body. Hatha provides a strong foundation for stability, balance, and full-body awareness. While this practice is slow, it can still be physically challenging. Optional opportunities to explore more advanced postures may be offered, with modifications available. Unlike Vinyasa, this class does not emphasize chaturangas, though they may occasionally be incorporated with control and intention.
