Jaclyn Miles
Jaclyn Miles is an international yoga teacher from Canada, living in San Diego. She has taught classes in Costa Rica, Italy, and loves to travel almost as much as she loves yoga!
She began practicing yoga around 15 years ago has been teaching now for almost 11. She started her yoga practice for the physical benefits but has stayed for everything else. It has truly made her a more connected, present human.
To Jaclyn, yoga is a reconnection; a
deeper dive into ourselves and a bringing together of each other. A practice to get back to our roots and our natural rhythm. To remind ourselves - we are warriors,
we are creators, we are magic.
More importantly, she believes in always being a student.
Jaclyn's classes are energetic, playful and full of opportunities to slow down, breathe and practice gratitude. Moments to truly nourish the soul.
Jaclyn Miles instructs the following:
-
Hatha
This is an all-levels static practice where you can expect to hold traditional yoga postures for several breaths, allowing time to explore alignment and engagement within your body. Hatha provides a strong foundation for stability, balance, and full-body awareness. While this practice is slow, it can still be physically challenging. Optional opportunities to explore more advanced postures may be offered, with modifications available. Unlike Vinyasa, this class does not emphasize chaturangas, though they may occasionally be incorporated with control and intention.
-
Slow Flow
A great class for all levels.
Slow Flow is an unhurried vinyasa class, balancing breath and body. This practice takes a slower pace providing the opportunity to build proper alignment and explore the intricacies of each pose. Slow does not necessarily mean easy, expect a moderate level of challenge in this class.

Yin Yoga with Sound Healing
A slow and meditative class composed of floor based poses. This unique style is intended to actively stretch the student’s fascia and connective tissues throughout the body, while also encouraging a conscious connection to breath and body. Props may be used as support, or to deepen or focus the stretch. This class is great for anyone seeking to increase flexibility, joint mobility and releasing tension, as well as practicing conscious awareness.
Sound Healing works in part by activating our parasympathetic nervous system, moving the mind and body from Fight or Flight into a state of Rest and Digest. Sound Healing brings the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation and energetic alignment. The vibrations of the instruments harmonize with the vibrations of the physical, emotional, and energetic body, releasing dis-harmony that we may hold as a result of life events and/or the high levels of stress that we experience in today's modern world.
