Breanna Taylor

With over 10 years of experience, Breanna Taylor is a passionate yoga instructor and yoga business coach. She discovered yoga after a college rowing injury and has since taught over 5,000 hours in various settings, including studios, gyms, offices, homes, workshops, and retreats.

Breanna specializes in alignment-focused Vinyasa flow, combining mindful movement with breathwork and hands-on assists. She also shares her expertise in Yin yoga and Reiki for deep release and restoration. Her teaching philosophy centers on yoga as a mindfulness practice that transforms the mind, body, and spirit, cultivating transformation, clarity, and compassion.

Originally from Connecticut, Breanna lived in Denver before moving to San Diego in April 2024. With her blend of expertise, creativity, and heart-centered approach, Breanna's classes offer an opportunity to explore breath, reflect on the mind through yogic philosophy, and gain a deeper understanding of emotions, minds, and bodies. Her classes promise a transformative and accessible experience for beginners and experienced yogis alike.

Breanna Taylor instructs the following:
  • Yin Yoga with Sound Healing
  • A slow and meditative class composed of floor based poses. This unique style is intended to actively stretch the student’s fascia and connective tissues throughout the body, while also encouraging a conscious connection to breath and body. Props may be used as support, or to deepen or focus the stretch. This class is great for anyone seeking to increase flexibility, joint mobility and releasing tension, as well as practicing conscious awareness.

Sound Healing works in part by activating our parasympathetic nervous system, moving the mind and body from Fight or Flight into a state of Rest and Digest. Sound Healing brings the body and mind into a state of deep relaxation and energetic alignment. The vibrations of the instruments harmonize with the vibrations of the physical, emotional, and energetic body, releasing dis-harmony that we may hold as a result of life events and/or the high levels of stress that we experience in today's modern world.

  • Vinyasa
  • This is an intermediate class and yoga experience is recommended.

Vinyasa is an active breath to movement practice that includes postures to create heat, build strength and flexibility. Advanced postures may be offered, though the class remains accessible to most who have some experience with yoga. This class incorporates binds, arm balances,  backbends, and chaturangas.

  • Hatha
  • This is an all-levels static practice where you can expect to hold traditional yoga postures for several breaths, allowing time to explore alignment and engagement within your body. Hatha provides a strong foundation for stability, balance, and full-body awareness. While this practice is slow, it can still be physically challenging. Optional opportunities to explore more advanced postures may be offered, with modifications available. Unlike Vinyasa, this class does not emphasize chaturangas, though they may occasionally be incorporated with control and intention.
